If you want to try to get a room at a sold-out hotel, periodically use the appropriate hotel form to see if any rooms have been returned to the block. Again, we can't guarantee that you can get a room this way, but you may be able to.

Caution: Some phone operators at Courtyard reservations told people to book rooms at rack rate and Denvention will convert them to the convention rate. We are not able to convert any rooms reserved at rack rate to the convention rate. Since this hotels is sold out on some nights, you may not be able to rebook at this hotel at the convention rate. However, don't forget that other hotels still have rooms at the convention rate for every night of the convention.

If you have multiple people booked into a room with different last names and Starwood Preferred Guest numbers, then you may get a notice of an SPG number mismatch. If that happens, you need to delete the extra guest, and make the reservation. You can then change it to add the person later. Alternatively, make the booking without the SPG number, and add that to the reservation later. Either of those changes can be made by calling the Westin reservations center.
